One of the high points of my career, I had the pleasure of being a member of the team who was able to work on a Metso HRC 3000 crusher cylinder. The largest crushing cylinder in the world. I was responsible for some final assembly in preparation for final testing and certification. Those cylinders were installed and commissioned for Metso Minerals, the end user is Freeport-McMoRan in Arizona. What a great experience!"

Today we installed the manifold/control system for the HRC 3000 Metso crusher cylinders (June 23rd, 2014). This is a cool project. Huge cylinders, loaded with high-tech. This heavy industrial hydraulic cylinder is being prepared for hydrostatic testing to 4,500 PSI and includes an integral control manifold and position-sensing system.
